Nightmare on Library Street...


I had to drive to various places today so no time to read. For you perhaps a day to day occurrence that's so trivial that you are bored by its mention. But for me, its like the nightmare of finding myself trapped for eternity in reading a book that always shows the same page no matter where I open it. But now home and lots of book packages to open and a new book to read this evening so all is well that ends well.

Books are the carriers of civilization…They are companions, teachers, magicians, bankers of the treasures of the mind. Books are humanity in print.
