Bad reading...good reading... a whack on the side of the head

THE RIGHT ANSWER
Good stories build, with appropriate twists and turns, one correct character interpretations or plot outcome but what if the story is ambiguous and other interpretations and outcomes possible and correct?

THAT'S NOT LOGICAL
Only logical, non contradictory, objective stories dealing with real life are good but what if the story deals with the life of hearing the sea sing and the moon speaking of the doom to come?

FOLLOW THE RULES
You must have someone transformed and have a story with a beginning, middle or end but what if the story has characters who live simultaneously in different countries and who are caught in a never ending cycle which only you the reader know and can change?

BE PRACTICAL
Stories, if you have to read fiction, are for making sense of the world as it is but what if the story takes you to the worlds imagined by what ifs?

PLAY IS FRIVOLOUS
Only read "how to guides" to improve job prospectus and the Classics for the mind but what if the story gives you time to sit and dream?

THATS NOT MY AREA
Only read age-appropriate genres but what if the story is a thriller that reveals religious truths or love story across time based on hope and a faded photograph or a girl falling down a rabbit hole?

DON'T BE FOOLISH
Of course I read this, all my friends think her stories are great but what if the story missed helps you walk to a different drum beat then the crowd?

AVOID AMBIGUITY
Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth is a nonsense but what if the story serves as an Oracle?

TO ERR IS WRONG
The risking of reading a bad book is too high but what if the story introduces you to a new writer or shows you in its badness what is good writing or has one line that shines in you forever?

I'M NOT CREATIVE
I am a reader not a creator of fiction but what if the story helped you to imagine how someone else thought or acted so committing you to an act of creation.
